So this day started as the first three days started, Early!!!. I woke up early, did everything… Went for parade. On the field, we said the anthems and then went for a lecture. The lecture was on security, I was really fighting sleep as the lecture was boring. Towards the end of the lecture, the speaker said something that didn’t sit well with me. He said that people that usually get raped are usually in the wrong place at the wrong time or just in a wrong place. I disagreed a lot. The questions that were asked were so funny. We had Hiv sensitization lecture, but before the lecture started some girl wanted to argue with me and I’m like😕 not today Satan😁. The HIV lecture was the funniest. The speaker came with models of the vagina and penis to demonstrate. People were so dramatic during this lecture. Later in the day, we learnt how to match. It was a funny experience until rain started to fall heavily. This day wasn’t as eventful as the others.
I woke up early as usual. We had parade by 5am as usual. After all the singing of anthems and all. It was time to March. I left the march line to join volleyball and it was one of the best decisions I have made. Before I continue, I want to say that I have made friends and talked to a lot of people. I am pretty proud of myself. We had another boring lecture on security again, I spent the time reading a novel / laughing at people that were dozing off. I slept off as soon as I got to my room. I haven’t had the best experience with food since but the food I ate on this day was good!!!. Bread, egg and coffee for breakfast, indomie and egg for lunch and potato and suya (Meat) for dinner (protein overload!). We had volleyball practice in the evening, I had to remove my glasses to avoid it breaking. The training was fun and painful (my arm hurt). By 8pm, talent hunt took place. I stayed for the dancing competition until I became so tired. I had to go to bed after. I guess things are picking up.
As this day is a Sunday, we are given break from early morning parade. I got the biggest surprise this day, Aunt flo decided to visit. I still woke up as early as usual despite the break. We had church services and it was fun.
So I haven’t been able to go to toilet since I came here but guess what? I had to run to use the toilet on this day. Sigh!!!
We had volleyball practice three times on this day;morning, afternoon and evening.
I sprained my hand playing volleyball and I’m homesick. I visited the clinic but the physiotherapist wasn’t available.😕😕😢
I went to bed with headache praying tomorrow will be better.
